All 2008-2009 Grades on Key

June 24th, 2009

The UGA Key developers would like to let University of Georgia students know that the Beta Key (here) now contains Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 grades.  If you are interested in seeing only grades assigned within the past year, you can look at this filter.

With this update, UGA Key now has grade data on 32,366 classes!  Over thirty-two thousand classes!  And syllabi!

If you have any problems, please please PLEASE get in touch with us and let us know.  We have fixed several bugs in recent weeks thanks to input from students.

Along with this update, we have made the Beta Key significantly faster loading.  The English subject just loaded for myself in less than 5 seconds (in Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome web browsers).

Up next, we are going to move the Beta Key over to the main UGA Key site (we’ll still leave up the old version for anyone attached) and we will add more syllabi.

Enjoy using UGA Key, and tell your friends and classmates where to determine which classes to take and which to avoid!

Try Out The New Version of UGA Key

April 12th, 2009

We’ve let some people take a look at what we are calling the “Beta Key” and now we want to invite everyone.  We have developed a new frontend for UGA Key that integrates a collection of course syllabi. You can get to the syllabi (if available for that course section) from the far right column.

You can now search for specific professors across all departments, and you can sort data now by clicking the column titles at the top. You can also limit your searches with the drop-down boxes below some of the column titles. To clear all your sorts and limits, hit the X link at the top left of the grade table.

To try out the Beta Key, go to http://beta.ugakey.com.  If you have any problems, get in touch with us and include plenty of details.

We are looking forward to rolling this update out sometime soon!

The maintainer of UGA Key News (Chris) recently noticed that links to some of the pages on here.  Namely, the contact page might have been difficult to get to.  The problems are now fixed.  Enjoy!

UGA Key Utilized Half a Million Times

August 28th, 2008

We put this little news item on the homepage and on the history page already, but we recently realized we have passed half a million pageviews since UGA Key opened it’s doors.  In just over a year (a year and 11 days, actually), UGA students have used UGA Key over half a million times.  We’re so proud!

Thank you, to everyone who has used UGA Key over the past year!

Spring Final Exam Schedule

January 23rd, 2008

I know classes have just started, but I though I’d throw up this link to the Spring 2008 Final Exam schedule.

I’m putting it up because it is incredibly hard to find on the Registrar’s website in the hopes of helping a few students out there.
